Doubles Division
This year the Siesta Key Crystal Classic welcomes
the World Championship of Sand Sculpting Doubles
Division and will be the "OFFICIAL HOST"
of the 2011 World Championship Doubles Division.
Winners of the Siesta Key Crystal Classic
Master Sand Sculpting Competition will be
recognized as the 2011 Doubles Division World
Champions.
You'll
have the opportunity to see more than 24 of
the best "Master" sand sculptors
from around the world create wonderful works
of art from piles of sand to benefit Mote
Marine's sea turtle program.
The
Siesta Key Crystal Classic will have many
activities for families to enjoy the event.
The Siesta Key Crystal Classic is open to
the public at no cost.
However,
if you want to get an up-close view of the
Master Sand Sculptures you may purchase an
admission bracelet for $5.00 each day.

Sand Sculpting competition - 24 of
the"TOP" master sculptors from around
the world will compete for over $18,000 in
prize money and the "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
OF SAND SCULPTING DOUBLES TITLE".

Getting
to the Event
NOTE: Very limited parking available on Siesta Key, click
here for parking information. IMPORTANT DRIVING TIP:If traveling from the north or south on I-75,
take exit 205 (Clark Road, State Road 72)
Event Parking and Shuttle
Due
to the very limited parking at Siesta Beach, it is highly
recommended that attendees park at
the satellite lot at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 South
Tamiami Trail, 1.3 miles north of Stickney Point Road
(State Road 72).
The cost is $5 per carload per day, including round-trip
transportation to the event site.
The Phillippi lot is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• The first shuttle leaves Phillippi Park daily
at 8:30 a.m.
• The last shuttle leaves Phillippi Park daily at
4 p.m.
• The last shuttle leaves Siesta Beach daily at
5:30 p.m.
VIP Parking at Siesta Beach
We're sorry — in order to make sure that attendees
receive their tickets in time for the event, advance ticket
sales closed on Oct. 31, 2011.
However, plenty of admission bracelets to the Second Annual
Siesta Key Crystal Classic are still available.
You may still purchase admission bracelets at the gate
and at the Philippi Creek shuttle parking lot at any time
during the event.
